80 D-Day Remembering all the brave Armed Forces who, changed the course of WW11 and our future. Including my uncle, Lt Gordon Royle, Brigadier Nigel Poett’s wireless operator, 6th Airborne,5th Parachute Brigade. He didn’t make it home. We will remember them. RIP

A brilliant day taking part in North East Autism Society Walk for Acceptance at Herrington Country Park. Really great to see so many good friends and supporters of the charity on the route. 😀

It is always a wonderful concert, a military spectacle, a showcase of artistic talent, the poignant fall of thousands of poppies and this year’s theme is the commemoration of the 80th anniversary of D-Day.

We had a wonderful audience for our Festival of Remembrance Durham Cathedral . Fortunate to get a great view from the pulpit in my role as Narrator. Here’s a glimpse of rehearsals with the Band of the Royal Regiment of Fusiliers.
