The final five grants total just over Β£1 million, which brings the total spend on research project grants to Β£15.6 million since the charity was founded. #PancreaticCancer

The full list of our final research grants can be seen at pcrf.org.uk/news/1m-for-fi… Although retiring in April 2024, our CEO Maggie Blanks will continue to administer these - and all other live research projects - through to their completion. #PancreaticCancer

Fantastic effort at University Hospital Southampton πŸ’™ using cutting-edge technology to treat patients with pancreatic cancer. Two simultaneous Whipple's procedures: one using intra-operative radiotherapy for borderline/locally advanced, whilst another team undertook a robotic case in an adjacent theatre!
