I have an exciting #PhD or #Postdoc position open in „Europe‘s fiercely vegan, fairy-tale city“ Tübingen (thanks for the adv BBC News (UK) ) in the European Research Council (ERC) funded project #bodymemory on tactile memory and full body #virtualhaptics bbc.com/travel/article…

Seeing HRF shape variability (e.g., time to peak, time to nadir, and peak-nadir magnitude ratios) even across just gray matter is astounding. And humbling. If you don't pay attention, your beta estimates (and stats!) will suffer drastically. Nice, usable approach, Gang Chen

We had inspiring 3 days of symposium IRTG1436 - Neural Resources of Cognition focusing on neural ressources of cognition and successful aging .My highlights were definetly Monique Breteler from @DZNE_en Bonn and her impressive rhineland study and Emily Rogalski and SuperAging research initiative 👏

Learning an association does not always succeed on the first attempt. What are the brain mechanisms underlying performance adaptations in following learning attempts? We addressed this question by quantifying single-trial fMRI stimulus processing evidence: nature.com/articles/s4427…
