Tammy and I joined 40 Embassy volunteers today at Pantry Packers, an amazing charitable venture of Colel Chabad, which provides healthy nutrition (whole wheat pasta in the picture) to 8500 families in Israel of all races and religions. An inspiring effort!

It was an honor to host Ambassador Friedman at Pantry Packers where he, together with family, friends and the Embassy community helped pack up over 1000 bags of food, 200+ ready-made meals and wrap gifts for 150 orphans.
