There is currently a large power outage affecting the Lake Parsippany area. JCP&L is en route to assess the situation. Restoration time is approximately 12:00 PM (subject to change).

Parsippany: Due to wires in the roadway on Vail Road, currently a detour is in place from South Roosevelt and Vail Road to Virginia Drive and Vail Road. Currently JCP&L is on scene, unknown ETA of reopening.

***MILLING AND PAVING*** Starting Monday, milling and paving will begin on N. Beverwyck Rd between Claudine Terrace and the Lake Shore Dr area. Please expect some lane shifts and possible detours. Local businesses will be accessible. Officers will be on site to assist

***POWER OUTAGE*** Due to a compromised utility pole off of Baldwin Road, approximately 1,600 customers are currently experiencing a power outage. JCP&L crews are currently mobilizing to assess and begin repairs.

***GAS MAIN LEAK*** An underground gas line was compromised by work crews on N. Beverwyck Rd at the intersection of Hiawatha Blvd. NJNG has turned off the gas flow to the broken line. The issue is being assessed by NJ Natural Gas crews. Expect detours/closures in the area.

Parsippany: The gas leak on North Beverwyck Road has been resolved, there are no closures or detours in place due to the leak.

***DETOUR*** Due to road construction, southbound traffic on N. Beverwyck Rd is detoured between Chesapeake Ave and Hiawatha Blvd. until approx. 4 pm. Please plan accordingly.

The Route 80 West On-Ramp from Route 46 (near Longhorn Steakhouse/Shoprite) will be closed until 1 PM today, 6/12/25 for repairs on light posts. All traffic is being diverted to Route 46 West. Be prepared for delays.
