This is unforgivable. While the number of central office employees making over $200,000 has quadrupled under Mike Miles, Houston ISD doesn’t have enough funding for college advisors. This is wrong on so many levels.

Facts: 600 million deficit; 170 principals removed; 10,000 employees gone in 12 months; historic decrease in student enrollment; failed bond; student deaths; guns all over; culture of fear; non-stop protests. Mike Miles Houston ISD

It’s mind blowing how political this takeover is. It’s devoid of facts. Mr. Morath and Mike Miles are living in an alternate reality. They are not the ones paying the price. The community will suffer long after Miles is gone.

Crafting and passing a 5-year contract in the middle of the night, behind closed doors, further breaks trust. It’s maddening to see how Houston ISD keeps reaching new lows. The 4th largest city in the country and its taxpayers have zero say in this. It’s tragic.
