DC just announced work to start next week at the Park at LeDroit. We are waiting to hear when & how long playgrounds will be closed. The Friends of the Park are asking DC to shorten playground closures. Will update when we have more information.

Per DC Parks & Recreation #WhereFunHappens, work is to take place at the Dog Park Jan. 21-22 to install perimeter edging. The dog park will not be closed, but the work may limit movement in this area as workers will need to work from inside the fencing.

The field (and the rest of the park) is currently scheduled to reopen on February 12, assuming there are no further delays. Thank you for your patience during the park renovations - there are great things to come at The Park at LeDroit! Friends of the Park at LeDroit
