Mrs. Mate promised a PJ day if students could get 70% of the school signed up for the fun run! PV students were excited today to reach their goal!

Fun run! Park View School CCSD 89 Teaching & Learning Education at ISU

Students in Kristina Uddenberg's classes at Park View School planted tulip bulbs in the school’s reading garden this afternoon. Each student has written a math or reading goal this year. Just like the bulbs, students will work hard for many months until they blossom in spring!

At tonight's Board of Education meeting, Park View School students Marcus, Jack, Julia, Grace, and Sophia showed how they use Augmentative and Alternative Communication to talk with friends. You can see AAC in action at Park View in this video: youtu.be/IzmOlD2CaG8

So proud of our Panthers and their giving spirit. Today kindness club collected candy for the troops. We were overwhelmed with how much the students brought in to donate. Amazing generosity for our students!

This morning, Park View School Elementary welcomed several veterans to their school for a ceremony that celebrated the freedoms that veterans help protect.

Kicking off our afternoon of winter celebrations with Glenbard South Unaccompanied Minors choral performance. So amazing to see former Panthers come back and share their talents with us!

We were excited to host Matt Wilhelm assembly today! Matt focused on kindness, bully prevention and never giving up combined with his amazing BMX tricks. What an amazing show!

Park View Panthers grades 3-5 were excited to have Staley Staley Da Bear 🐻 from the Chicago Bears with us this morning! Staley gave us great testing tips so we can rock our IAR testing this week!
