In 1977, the Cabinet gifted the Queen a silver coffee pot for her Silver Jubilee. When she received it, the Queen apparently said to Callaghan: 'Oh! I’m so glad you haven’t repeated Mr Disraeli’s gift to Queen Victoria. He gave her a painting of himself.'

Parliamentary History History Of Parliament I think so. I read some of his speeches on press freedom when researching my history of parliamentary journalism, and there were terrific. He was also Burke's sidekick in the impeachment of Warren Hastings, and much praised for his speeches there
