The part in this about small practices is very disappointing. Done well they provide great continuity, a radar over their community & good patient centred care. But they’ve been starved of resource. Lots of examples where what came after was worse. I fear for rural areas 🤷🏻‍♂️

Olivier Picard Maybe the 19year old in question is neurodivergent, has known their GP since childhood and values a private conversation in a room they know, not ticked form in a corner of a shop? Just a thought… From a GP, who is quite happy to issue EC to anyone who prefers to ask me for it.

Pharmacists don't have to worry about CQC (it's true). They can post details of morning after pill prescriptions identifying patients without any reprisals. They can carry out procedures without indemnity. With the door open! And to top it off....he is the Chair of the NPA!
