Great start to our course on Global Health and International Law Amsterdam Law School 👩‍🏫

Happy to be in b’ful Trento for the #UACES2024 conference, with 2 presentations based on my PhD chapters with @EUHealthGov panels: today on external trust & regulatory reliance on EMA impact in LDCs; and on Wed about vaccine manufacturing capbilities.

I wrote a blog for Ideas On Europe on the Team Europe Initiative on vaccines manufacturing and access in Africa. I discuss the Team Europe Approach, BioNTainers in Rwanda, highlighting 3 points of attention 👉 1/2..

2/2. 1. African partners must lead key decisions. 2. The (indirect) benefits to BiNTech and other European pharma firms from the Team Europe Initiative need critical review. 3. Any such benefits should come with technology transfer and access conditions.
