Completely disgusted by this decision. Impossible to shake the view that security elites remain in the driving seat of UK Gov approach to legacy & the past. Solidarity with the Brown family. No state or non state actor has the right to deprive a family of the truth.

Is ar scĆ”th a chĆ©ile a mhaireann na daoine. It is in each other's shadow that people live. Celebrated on May 1, Beltane an ancient Celtic festival marking the beginning of summer. In Ireland, it’s one of the four major Gaelic festivals, alongside Samhain, Imbolc, and Lughnasadh.

My newly born Granddaughter has a rocket to rock the pram, when I was young it was said the hand that rocks the cradle rules the world and today the leader of the free world is a rocket so I suppose there’s still truth in the old saying. lol

The Executive is defined by inaction, so is happy with the distraction of daily rows on signs or statues. If we want to give young people a reason not to get on a plane to Australia, we need to offer more them more than one never-ending Old Firm game.

Glad to meet with Ryan Bradley today. Such a shame this verge was cut. A missed opportunity from DfI to promote biodiversity. Glad our local council officials have taken onboard our concerns.

Dr Steve Aiken OBE Queen's University Belfast šŸŽ“ Hillary Clinton Bill Clinton US Consulate Belfast Professor Sir Ian Greer Ulster Unionist Party Steve this is an absolutely shameful and disreputable thing to say. Your constant, florid accusations of anti-semitism towards anyone who questions the actions of Israel will not age or reflect well. Please stop, not least because it trivialises the evil of anti-semitism

Cemetery Sunday at St Coleman’s Church For remembering the dead of the parish of Magheralin. Thanks to all who helped organise. St. Colman's Church in Kilwarlin was built in 1812. The foundation stone was laid by the Marquis of Downshire on December 7th, 1812.

Paramilitary flags aren’t culture, they’re intimidation. For too long, illegal flags & banners have been used to threaten and mark territory. New legislation will give the PSNI powers to remove them. The Executive must back this with real support and resources.

Great to meet up with fire and rescue a highly respected and well trained group of professionals, let’s hope we never need them but rest assured if needed they will be there.

A priest and health workers taken away in handcuffs for holding signs about the genocide in Gaza. As Britain shifts further right, a New Ireland rooted in rights, peace and international law is the better and an achievable future.

Leadership from Cricket Ireland and the NCU. Carson played hurling, De Valera preferred rugby and the only Nobel Prize winner to play first class cricket was a Protestant Irishman educated in Fermanagh. Maybe they knew something that others are still struggling with in 2025.
