West African Conservation Network is an organisation with an MOU to support the National Park Service-Nigeria to restore the Kainji Lake National Park, Nigeria 🇳🇬. Follow our project for updates - the WACN Kainji Lake National Park Project

On behalf of West African Conservation Network (WACN), I’ll be in #Abuja #Nigeria in the coming weeks having meetings with key development partners, officials, and other potential stakeholders in support of the #WACN Kainji Lake National Park Project. Drop me a DM if you wish to discuss our project.

I was in #Abuja most of last week leading key West African Conservation Network (WACN) officials to meetings with key prospective partners in support of the WACN Kainji Lake National Park Project. On Wednesday, the team at the National Park Service-Nigeria headquarters received us warmly #WACN #Wildlife #Biodiversity

As a #BritishNigeria born in the city of #Birmingham, I have been quite disappointed that the UK in Nigeria🇬🇧🇳🇬 has repeatedly shunned our organisation West African Conservation Network (WACN)’s efforts to connect with them in relation to our project to rescue the Kainji Lake National Park.

I’ve seen the Foreign, Commonwealth & Development Office giving support to other environmental programs in #Nigeria, but they repeatedly refused to give West African Conservation Network (WACN) audience in connection with the #WACN Kainji Lake National Park Project. Kainji is one of West Africa’s most formidable wilderness areas.

Farooq Kperogi While I don’t agree with what feels like Kemi Badenoch’s disparagement of Nigeria, I’d prefer we direct our attention to holding our corrupt politicians accountable—those whose crimes against the Nigerian people are the very issues her remarks bring to light.
