As a reviewer, I wouldn't go past the second line...but yes, the peer review system is just not sustainable anymore. Too many journals publishing whatever just to survive, struggling to get reviewers to basically work for free. We should just assume some journals are rubbish.

In Italy we always use NRP+HOPE for DCD livers and have the lowest incidence of ITBL. This is the first #DCD #liver in my series of >100 cases, that needed #retransplantation. It was recovered abroad without NRP and, despite HOPE, it developed massive ITBL in a few months.
