Just sharing again because it fills my soul. This kind of interactive student tech isn’t about the tools or the end product - it’s about the stories they help tell, and that quiet, powerful hope that our community will feel something real and want to connect. #themaskswewear

I share this video at keynotes + workshops to show the difference between VR + AR—design, location, and proximity matter. A great way for educators to choose the right tool. Bonus: the artwork shows how LiDAR scans can archive the world. youtu.be/Twz-3N34UG8

Experimented with a Gaussian splat of a creek (camping trip scan) and embedded a floating bubble using Spline Mapped a looping video texture of kids playing to the bubble. On tap: spatial audio plays their voices. Exploring memory recall + storytelling in immersive spaces

I’ve found myself increasingly using visual references with Canva AI image generation to more accurately represent what’s in my mind. Rather than relying on prompts, it’s becoming more about layering—scaffolding ideas through photography/simple shapes to bring concepts to life.

Made a working piano with {codeforme} Canva new ai. The great thing is, because it’s in Canva for Education , I can share with students and then they can add their sheet music as a layer, preview and rehearse. So great! So many possibilities to craft our own resources! Using Technology Better

Iteration of last @Canva {codeforme} post of a working piano. Now it becomes a learning tool! Still tinkering with animations & pacing BUT…. Suprised at the scope of this. Even added a show code button so I can copy code into other programs. Wow. Canva for Education Using Technology Better

Things are moving fast! arrival.space picks up collision/physics objects & elements in a Gaussian scan splat from Scaniverse Super super rough scan (don’t judge) to see if it works? It does. Wow! Different applications? Can list so many. Using Technology Better

Second prompt to copy and paste in the ‘big book of Canva {codeforme} prompts’ is a little app that allows students to work through a series of questions to create a great image. Teaches S’s the structure and elements to actually generate their ideas. Canva for Education Using Technology Better

At the AIS Conference? Join me today at 2:00 pm in E3.9 for an engaging session exploring spatial tech — from AR/VR to creator tools. I’ll demo apps like Room Twin that turn your space into 3D with just your phone. Spatial is more than headsets. #AISnsw Using Technology Better

AR filters with Canva + {Codeforme}? Yes please. Great meeting Owen Flattery at #AISConf—he’s doing awesome work with {Codeforme}. Pulled code from a project that wouldn’t run in Canva, ran it locally via TextEdit/HTML on Mac. 2D, rough, but it works. More soon. Using Technology Better

Playing with image to Gaussian generation. Not sure what to think, but play essential to finding new effects. Without the acceptance of failure we risk never finding beauty.
