I saw some brilliant, brave, but very ordinary people, young & old, do an extraordinary thing. They defeated a cruel and corrupt dictator.

Is he an idiot or just pretending to be one very well? Russia wants to kill Ukrainians and destroy Ukraine. Ukrainians want to live and be left alone.

The mural Milana in Mariupol portrayed a 6yo girl. In 2015, russian shelling of the district where her family lived killed her mom and left the child severely injured, leading to leg amputation. This painting celebrated Ukrainian resilience. In Nov 2022, russians demolished it.

Yeah but that's the bollocks of the Brexit argument. Which was that freely chosen mutually beneficial shared standards which contributed to massive economic upside were a limitation of sovereignty. Whereas the person saying this literally doesn't think Ukraine is independent.

Well, who knew that. Putin lied to Trump. Trump (and Rep. Marjorie Taylor GreeneπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ) took Putin at his word (big fucking mistake, always, without exception) and repeated absolute mistruths. What a surprise. By the way, I've a similar reply from the socialist Marxist communist hell hole of Switzerland.

I'm quite aware of the war that he hasn't ended despite his bluster. The russian war against Ukraine. What are the others? And will his next "tariff" conversation with the Finance Minister of Norway include another appeal for the Nobel Peace Prize?

Paul Niland (@paulniland) 's Twitter Profile Photo

He did no such thing. He'd have zero influence on Ukraine's decision to defend itself. The heroic defence of this country would have happened despite anything said by Boris Johnson. Johnson demanded nothing and forbade nothing. To claim otherwise is stupid.

You may think that russia had never recognised Crimea as a part of Ukraine. But here in 2010 you see the presidents of that country and Ukraine signing an agreement that explicitly confirms Ukraine's sovereignty over the peninsula. Just 4 years later it's "always been" russia.

Trump is such a simpleton that he thinks if you just get the two men together one says 20 and the other says 14 and they'll do a deal somewhere in the middle. That's his concept of a peace plan. Then he's solved at least a dozen wars and he gets the Nobel Peace Prize.
