I am absolutely delighted to be joining the University of British Columbia next year as an Assistant Professor UBC Zoology. We will study social evolution in viruses.

First #QBioBreakfast featuring a joint effort from Paul Turner Lab Postdoc Dallas L. Mould and visiting summer undergrad Emma Kane presented a chalk talk on phage-antibiotic combination therapy and environmental factors affecting phage infections. 💊🦠

Finally, the preprint on my postdoc work from the past 3 years! With mentorship from Paul Turner Lab and Emonet Lab, I developed a microscopic technique to measure attachment of viruses #phages to bacterial cells Yale Phage Center Yale QBio . biorxiv.org/content/10.110…

.Jyot Antani (Yale University) etal developed a microscopy-based technique to measure #phage attachment to bacterial cells. This method provides an alternative to the century-old Phage Adsorption Assay. Feel free to reach out with any questions: [email protected]. buff.ly/4fd1PnD

The Kavli Institute for Theoretical Physics QBio course on mobile elements was amazing 🩵 With excellent projects led by Paul Turner Lab, Roberto Kolter, Joanne Emerson, Richard Neher, NimwegenLab, Benjamin Good (+ me). Course began with a wetlab bootcamp, Dallas Mould demonstrating the first experiments..
