#ICTs can transform and strengthen #Extension systems, through tools that promote the spread of knowledge, and collection of #data. AgReach has been piloting the Extension Helper App in #Malawi, prelim results show the app encourages extension worker accountability + performance.

Equipping women extensionists with #ICTs enables them to be pioneers and helps bridge the digital gap. We were able to enlist ~50% women participation in this study, results forthcoming!

I was drawn to economics to better understand the world, but that isn't what it mostly does. A narrowly conceived view of empirical rigor ("forward causal inference" in Dani Rodrik's polite skewering) results in pre-occupation only with questions&answers where the light is good.
