Reconstructing the stamped mockado doublet described by Dr. Sophie Pitman today at #RefashioningConference. What happens when we don't have an object?

Having the most fantastic time at a silk reeling workshop for the close of the Refashioning the Renaissance conference. It's magical to see the thread reel straight from the cocoon and to get a chance to do it myself, so privileged to have been able to attend

Thank you so much everyone who attended the #RefashioningConference online or at Aalto University. This weekend brought together over four years of research, experiments and collaborations, and the results will be published in our edited volume.

We had the most amazing time with our colleagues at the Refashioning the Renaissance ERC final conference. Thank you for all our wonderful collegues who participated in the event and celebrated the ending of our project, in person and online 🥰😍
