Does the brain change during pregnancy? You bet it does. How about doing 26 MRI scans on a single person pre-conception to 2 years post-partum. WOW! Laura Pritschet and colleagues nailed it with their new paper in Nature Neuroscience. Key Points: - The authors point out that pregnancy

A beautiful moment captured! ❤️ A Black-winged Stilt (Himantopus himantopus) shares a tender moment with its chick. These striking birds are known for their long legs and elegant appearance. #birds #wildlife 🎥Credit: Liu Jun Via lin hillside ©️

Great to see people of various ages interacting with our taxidermy seabirds at the #Culturenight and as part of the #Warppedproject. Each specimen highlights a threat wildlife is facing, such as plastic and oil pollution shown in the pictures

Big support to the Atlantic Technological University students that protest against the housing crisis in Ireland. The accommodation offer in Ireland is the worst I have experienced (from a Frenchie who lived in different countries). We should protect the next generations and provide better support system.

I spoke to Melody Schreiber The Guardian about the H5N1 case in BC. More and more human cases are occurring, along with mutations that indicate further human adaptation. We need to treat these cases like a warning, because that is what they are. theguardian.com/world/2024/nov…
