The NSRF's Eve Griffin will open Brain Awareness Week 2025 in UCC Ireland next week with a lecture on "Understanding and Preventing Suicide from a Public Health Perspective". [3/5] Findings from the Annual Report 2022/2023 showed: ▶️No increase in hospital-presenting self-harm during or towards the end of the pandemic Outcomes demonstrate the importance of ongoing surveillance to monitor the potential impact of the pandemic on these behaviours
