Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael have confirmed students will be hit with an extra €1,000 in college fees. They’ve turned their backs on young people. Rents are soaring, rooms are shrinking - but costs keep rising. This rip off must end. Under Sinn Féin students fees must be

Ireland has facilitated €418m for Israel’s genocide – Pearse Doherty “We cannot turn away or ignore the fact that the government is choosing to make this state complicit in genocide.” sinnfein.ie/news/ireland-h…

Pearse Doherty (@pearsedoherty) 's Twitter Profile Photo

I have received a response from the Central Bank that €418 million has been raised by Israel selling war bonds across Europe facilitated by this state. This can and must be stopped by the government passing the Israeli War Bonds Bill.

Sinn Féin's Pearse Doherty has told the Dáil it is "simply unacceptable" that Donegal is among a few counties on the island of Ireland which still has no rail network, describing it as "a forgotten county" rte.ie/news/politics/…

New research shows no economic barriers to Irish Unity – Pearse Doherty "This research leaves no doubt that Irish Unity can deliver economic benefits to people across this Island. We need to build on this with confidence and ambition." sinnfein.ie/news/new-resea…

A fatal blow to economic arguments against a united Ireland. New research rightly states that ‘the costs associated with Unity have tended to be exaggerated and the benefits of an all-Ireland economy largely ignored’. Irish Unity is an economic opportunity we need to grasp.

I will be be raising this important report on a United Ireland in the Dáil shortly. Its time for the Government to set out what they are going to do to start planning and preparing for a United Ireland!

Major research published today from Dublin City University and Ulster University shows beyond doubt the economic benefits of Irish Unity. It’s time to grasp the moment. The government must prepare for unity referendums and the economic opportunities which will flow from it.

Today I came to Dublin to stand with Sinn Féin TD Pa Daly as he began his High Court challenge against Fianna Fáil and Fine Gael. Their grubby deal with Michael Lowry saw the biggest ever number of Super Junior Ministers in Cabinet. Huge cost to taxpayer and we believe totally

‘Enough is enough’ – households being forced to subsidise the costs of data centres, says Sinn Féin MEP independent.ie/irish-news/eno…

Pearse Doherty (@pearsedoherty) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Shameful government continued to invest in Israeli war bonds as we watched genocide unfolding. NTMA accounts show the state continued to invest in Israeli war bonds up until at least the end of 2024. The value of the investment actually increased in 2024 from €2m to €3m.
