Collaboration with David R. Liu led to compact mtDNA base editors (ZF-DdCBEs) for improved in vivo applications. The small size of ZF-DdCBEs allows for a single AAV delivery and efficient (up to 60%) editing in multiple tissues Pedro Silva-Pinheiro Nature Communications nature.com/articles/s4146ā¦

This work was a terrific collaboration with Pedro Silva-Pinheiro & Minczuk Lab. Congratulations to Julian Willis (on the academic job market), Pedro, Lily Widdup (@ChemIsTry2351), and Michal Minczuk. See also related work from Jin-Soo Kim's lab (Ref. 29). 8/8 nature.com/articles/s4146ā¦
