Very sad to learn today of the passing of Professor Jiro Tsuji. Tsuji was a pioneer of transition metal catalysis and inspired many in the field including myself and Stoltz Group. It was my honor to have met him on a number of occasions. He will be missed.

Our first paper is now online! We developed an electrochemical Mitsunobu-type reaction that needs no azo activation reagent. Lots of heterocycle nucleophiles and extensive nOe analysis to verify their regioselectivity! onlinelibrary.wiley.com/doi/abs/10.100…
