It is a pleasure to host Prof. Baruch I Kanner from Hebrew University at IISc Bangalore. Baruch is visiting India and is giving a talk and classroom lecture on neurotransmitter transporters Molecular Biophysics Unit, IISc.

A warm farewell to Nazia Hussain who is leaving Molecular Biophysics Unit, IISc and Aravind Penmatsa today for her postdoc Uni Göttingen. Nazia contributed immensely to the growth of the lab and its projects besides doing excellent research on large pore ion channels.
