At last week's Larry Donnell Kimmons Memorial Lecture, Pepperdine University dean of Libraries Mark Roosa dedicated the most recent book added to the Larry Donnell Kimmons Memorial Book Collection: a signed 50th edition of W.E.B. DuBois' "The Souls of Black Folk." bit.ly/4iDUI99

In April, two Pepperdine University students—Molly Sheridan and Saylor Stottlemyer—enrolled in Kelle Marshall's French capstone course presented their final projects. Working closely with Special Collections librarians, each student translated a rare book from our collection.

Edwards H. Metcalf (1911–2001) collected playing cards dating from the 1800s to the mid-1900s. His collection features a variety of card games, such as Man-Chu, fortune-telling decks, and court cards. Come see the collection on view in the Special Collections Wing at Payson.
