Great day to wrap up WinterTurf projects before the snow falls. A couple projects related to snow mold - fertilizer rate & timing, and leaf mulching for home lawns.

I had a great time at the First Green event at Lyon Oaks Golf Course yesterday. It was a pleasure to work with Performance Sports Turf at the soil station and connect with all the other volunteers.

Winterkill reestablishment – Payton Perkinson & Dr. Kevin Frank will discuss putting green reestablishment practices in the spring. The effect of creeping bentgrass cultivar and Two-Putt annual bluegrass seeded on three dates on two different rootzones will be presented.
