Check out BBC Countryfile BBC Two @ 5.30pm this Sunday. The team will be showcasing how we're working hard, here at Blacktoft and around the Humber Estuary, managing reedbeds and wetland habitats for nature and for people. RSPB England RSPB #eastcoastflyway

Very much looking forward to this one! We had a big "behind the scenes" role in coordinating the different storylines with our partner organisations 😁

A couple of videos that I captured of the Marsh Harrier last week whilst at Lincs Wildlife Trust Far Ings nature reserve. I never really get the chance to see them on the floor so this was a great encounter of such a cracking bird. #BirdWatching

Please note that after last night's big tide the reserve is fully flooded. This means all the hides will be inaccessible for at least the next four days. Please check back here for updates.

After another high tide last night water levels on the reserve remain high. Due to safety concerns the reserve will close at 2pm today onwards. We will reopen as soon as it is safe to do so. Please check back here for the latest updates.

Hannah Bourne-Taylor Another day of many birds as soon as I step into Far Ings NNR. Cetti’s warbler, bittern, chiffchaff, G C grebes, blackbird, song thrush, blackcap but the best was the two ring ouzels calling and racing around the hedgerows. Then I hear my first cuckoo of the year. 😁
