We are honored to welcome Peter Nakaji MD as this year's George E. Ehni visiting professor! Named after the late Dr. George E. Ehni, who founded the #BCMNeurosurgery residency program, this multi-day workshop has been a department staple for over three decades.

It's been a fantastic Friday at #BCMNeurosurgery! 🧠 This morning, Peter Nakaji MD presented an engaging and informative lecture as this year's George E. Ehni visiting professor, and this afternoon the #BCMCenterForCancerNeuroscience held its final seminar of the academic year!

It was great to have Peter Nakaji MD come serve as our Ehni Lecturer. He gave a great talk about minimally invasive approaches and led a dissection lab. BCM Neurosurgery Ganesh Rao M.D. #MedEd

An honor to meet Bruce Ehni — son of Baylor’s neurosurgery founder, George Ehni. Though retired, his reflections on neurosurgical life & legacy were profound. Now for us to carry that spirit forward! BCM Neurosurgery linkedin.com/posts/peternak…

Great to have a chance this week to spend a couple of days as neurosurgery visiting professor at the University of Vermont. Wonderful hospitality hosted by the chair, Dr. Bruce Tranmer, and my former fellow Dr. Brandon Liebelt, now a very successful skull base surgeon in his own right.

I was honored to speak at University of Vermont , a department rooted in the legacy of Dr. RM Donaghy, pioneer of bypass surgery and the operating microscope. Some surgeons who came to his lab to learn the microscope were ridiculed. How times change! linkedin.com/posts/peternak…
