We're pleased to announce that we, along with Northwestern RSSI, WISER Northwestern, and GLC, were able to give out almost $5,000 in COVID grants to Northwestern Chemistry students. Thanks to all who were involved in making this possible!

@PeteWinegar and my collab project. Modular, sequence-defined, molecularly pure protein oligomers. What's awesome is these constructs have molecular weights around 900 kDa, and we didn't use recombinant protein expression. Mirkin Group Chad A. Mirkin cell.com/chem/fulltext/…

Congrats @PeteWinegar and @See_adrian_figg on their work in the Mirkin Group! They designed a modular DNA scaffold to program the assembly of proteins into monodisperse, sequence-encoded oligomers. No changes to the DNA scaffold or proteins are needed! doi.org/10.1016/j.chem…
