We lost multiple traffic signal poles in the City, last night, so it may be a few days before we can mobilize and repair each intersection. Temporary STOP signs are in-place as a reminder that an out-of-service signal is to be treated as a stop sign.

In April, I was able to head out with Pittsburgh Mobility & Infrastructure and see the vital work they’re doing to keep Pittsburghers safe. Our office continues to seek solutions that allow DOMI to continue their work while ensuring our first responders can access people in need.

Drivers, make room for cyclists! It’s the law! 🚴 When you pass a bicycle, you must give them four feet of space and may only cross the double yellow line to do so when safe. Visit bit.ly/PennDOTBicycle… to learn more about bike safety laws. #BikeSafetyMonth

We had a fantastic time during Bike to Work Week. For many of our staff, every week is BTWW and we are pleased to have an array of transportation modes represented in our staff. We’re proud of the work they do everyday to support the mobility and infrastructure of Pittsburgh.

In partnership with Pittsburgh H2O, we completed a stormwater and roadway improvement project to address flooding issues at Braywood Way in the Greenfield and Hazelwood neighborhoods. These improvements, while unromantic, mean a world of difference for the impacted residents.
