Gowry and George are medicines management pharmacy technicians at our ⁦@BartsHospital⁩ site. They are ward-based & undertake drug histories, as well as assessment & ordering of patient medicines. This ensures patients get the right medicines promptly. #RxTechDay

Ayaan & Nadeeja have just started the pharmacy technician course. Over the next two years they will rotate around the department, gaining experience in different parts of pharmacy. This lets them learn core skills, but also helps them to plan their future careers. #RxTechDay

Here Ayaan is shown in her stores rotation, where she will learn how to manage pharmaceutical stock for the Trust. While there she will also learn the process for booking in goods and get to work in our buying department. #RxTechDay

Thivian is part of our Clinical Trials team and ensures all trial protocols are followed precisely. Many of our trials are focused on cancer medicines, aiming to improve the outcomes for all cancer patients. #RxTechDay

Here we have Jozef and Tony, who are part of our technical services team. They are decontaminating items before they are passed through to the main lab, making sure the products we make are safe for our patients. #RxTechDay

Mahrukh is a student pharmacy technician, and part of our cross-sector training programme with ⁦London Ambulance Service⁩. In total five students are on this innovative programme, working at both @BartsHospital⁩ and the LAS to gain their competencies. #RxTechDay

Kiera (medicines management), Shahida (student) & Petronella (rotational) are part of our oncology team. They work together across the ward and ward-based dispensary to help ensure a safe and effective service for our cancer patients. #RxTechDay
