Great overview of prospecting Mesolithic landscapes by Eelco Rensink! Rijksdienst voor het Cultureel Erfgoed #APsligo2019

A warming #climate threatens archaeological sites in #Greenland, Smithsonian Magazine reports. New research is finding that as the world warms, Norse and Inuit artifacts and human remains will decompose before archaeologists are ever able to unearth them. egu.eu/1095W9

We're creating a new National Center for the 3D Imaging of the Near Surface thanks to Australian Research Council. This will provide Australian researchers with next-generation geophysical tools for high-resolution landscape mapping for archaeology, earth, enviro and forensic science. Flinders University

Thanks very much to Flinders University, University of Newcastle, Uni of Adelaide, UGent, University of Cyprus, FORTH and the Vestfold and Telmark County Council for supporting this unique facility.
