So it's been a while #ParkRun, & y'day's warm & sticky Worcester parkrun was a bit of a struggle. Felt like I was giving it my all, but gap & heat meant no hope of a parkrun UK PB w/ 28.06. A lovely atmosphere & glad of tree cover in the woods. V much deserved McDonald's UK Lemonade.

A #LGAConf25 VVMO post, but why are overnight taxes so controversial in UK? All over the 🌎 they're levied & spent by & for local govt. In Liverpool led by a BID with support of Council, but frankly power should rest w/ every tier, down to Parish Councils & be independent of HMT.
