Great to see the Hive Cafe Streatham cafe finally getting the windows repaired over 6 months after being the victims of another terrible attack of vandalism. Hope they are open again soon.

Anti-LTN loon Andrew Ellson’s article about Rezina Chowdhury is a bullying smear-fest designed, I believe, to incite harassment & hatred against the councillor. This pathetic attempt at journalism reports the accusations of a single man & attempts to paint it as a scandal. 1/6

I don't know the full story here, but maybe consider what Tulse pHill is saying here, simply because The Times has been getting a lot on Active Travel very wrong?

Tulse pHill CHAIRRDRF This is absolutely correct. Ellson abandoned any pretence of objectivity long ago and it’s amazing that The Times publishes what are clearly opinion pieces (and bitter and spiteful ones at that) as news.

Tulse pHill Great thread. You’ve expressed perfectly everything I feel about this article and Andrew Ellson The man is a hateful & pitiful character. One thing I’d add is that another purpose is to intimidate all elected officials with plans to make streets safer for women and children.

We wrote a joint letter from all St Martin’s elected representatives to Sadiq Khan today, asking TfL to commit funding to the Tulse Hill Gyratory redesign works in order to make our residents safer and transform the area.

London’s streets are often clogged with cars, vans and taxis which prevent emergency services getting through. Luckily this ambulance is able to use one of Sadiq Khan’s hated cycle lanes to bypass the traffic and get to the emergency.
