As the colours eased on Sandymount Strand on Sunday morning, some stuck around for longer and it was still beautiful. I particularly liked this one wave of cloud that reflected perfectly.

The aurora borealis over Ballynafagh Church during May 2024's historic G5 geomagnetic storm. Contrary to what outlets will have you believe, no the aurora won't be seen tonight. Poor stats, bright moon, still in twilight and cloud cover. May 2024 should not be the benchmark too.

The repainting of the Poolbeg Chimneys is to begin next month as was expected. In the past year alone, I've captured them with a fogbow, nacreous clouds, snow, moonrise, moonset, sunrise, sunset and noctilucent clouds.

52% moonrise lined up with Rockabill Lighthouse from Skerries South Strand last night. Very challenging to capture and had to denoise heavily so it’s soft but happy with it for a single exposure given the conditions.

As the moon was rising, got to see a lunar pillar last night on Skerries South Strand. I’ve seen many sun pillars but this was the first moon pillar I’ve seen and captured.

Another one from the Hill of Slane yesterday morning. Meath has so many gems, what a beautiful county. My portfolio for it has gotten a big boost this year. Have done Trim, Ballymagarvey, Mary McAleese Bridge, Hill of Tara, Slane, Newgrange. Still many more to do.

Last one for now from Sunday morning's shoot at the Hill of Slane, what a morning. This one is of the pre-sunrise colour as the fog was lifting over the hill.

Another one from this morning's sunrise in DĂşn Laoghaire when the sun was slightly a bit higher and losing detail as it rises above the most hazy part of the horizon.
