Only came across ERA Teaching Resources for the first time at a recent International Special Interest Group 🗺 meeting. Superb video resources available for free for teachers. Many snippets of docs to peruse that are no longer available on BBC etc. Check it out #geographyteacher !!

I used to print maps to teach the distribution of earthquakes and volcanoes. Not only did this cost money (colour printing😆) but I never really felt that students grasped what I wanted them to. So after watching videos mainly Alistair Hamill (thank you!) I now use GIS! 🧵

Has anybody had any experience volunteering to teach abroad? I quite fancy doing this in the summer holidays but have no idea where to start.

Had the pleasure getting to know FLOOGLEBINDER: travel that makes a difference within our International Special Interest Group 🗺 meetings and the thought that goes into these trips is incredible. Great for CPD!
