Seeing double. Derek Taylor (Somerset) batting as twin Mike (Hampshire) bowls, B&H Cup quarter-final, Taunton, June 12th 1974. Soon after Mike dismissed his brother, revenge for Derek having caught him earlier in the day! The umpire is George Pope. (Patrick Eagar)

June 21st 1975. The one day of cricket I would pick to revisit if I could. The inaugural World Cup final, an epic between Australia and West Indies, played in glorious sunshine. Here a wide-angle Patrick Eagar photo shows Ian Chappell about to be run out by Viv Richards

A ticket for the first Prudential World Cup final on this day in 1975 which cost £3.00 for general ground admission. The comparable price now, allowing for inflation, would be around £27. The cheapest public ticket for Lord's at the 2019 final was £95, the most expensive £395
