Third level students and their families deserve better than false promises. This government should scrap the €1,000 hike in fees without delay, so that students can prepare and budget for the academic term ahead.

The greening of Clarendon Street by Dublin City Council has been an outstanding success. The fluffy crowns of 13 new trees – Acacia or Robinia, experts do advise! – coupled with Leinster granite paving has transformed a utilitarian route into one of Dublin’s most attractive streets.

This is obviously great news - but we know it can't last. Excess corporation tax has to be steered towards saving, infrastructure, and long-term investment. If we keep using it for day-to-day spending, we'll face another 2008-style cliff edge. irishtimes.com/business/2025/…

Parliament Street is now traffic free. It's a big win: these things don't come naturally, though, and it'll progressive staff, politicians and Dubliners to keep this sort of thing coming. Onwards! 🍕🍕🍕

Tonight the Greens are ending a bad tax cut in Dublin City Council. We want to invest instead. We'll be raising money to insulate social housing, bring derelict properties into use, offer pprenticeships, and build zebra crossings. Fixing Dublin = Investing in Dublin

✅ Pledge fulfilled Prior to the election, we pledged to fund public services and end Dublin city's bizarre local property tax cut. We've done that tonight, raising €65m+ for fixing roads, tackling dereliction, insulating homes, and new zebra crossings.

€22bn allocated for transport in the NDP of which €2bn we know is for MetroLink. There's zero reference to where the other €20bn will go.

The new National Development Plan proposals released today represent yet another retreat from real #ClimateAction by the government #NDP greenparty.ie/news/governmen… Roderic O’Gorman TD Michael Pidgeon

🚨 The €3.15bn Climate & Nature Fund that the Green Party fought for in Government has been raided by FF/FG. This fund should be used as intended – to retrofit our buildings and to help farmers restore nature to reduce our emissions. Roderic O’Gorman TD on Drivetime RTE

Today's opinion by the International Court of Justice on Climate is huge. It establishes for the first time an obligation in international law that states must meet the commitments they signed up to in climate treaties, and work with each other doing this rte.ie/news/world/202…
