Just voted in the Canadian federal election. It was an unexpectedly emotional moment. Given the nightmarish consequences of the Trump election, the act of voting seems particularly laden with meaning and importance.

You really called it. The West is losing all credibility in the futile hope that Trump will suddenly decide to pressure Russia and then stick with that line long enough for it to have an effect. Meanwhile, Ukrainians die and the time to actually do something is frittered away.
