Dr. Samarendu Mohanty, Former Asia Regional Director(2017-2024), International Potato Centre, Lima, Peru Joined PJTAU as UGC Professor of Practice on 25.02.2025 for a period of 2 yrs. He is a winner of World Food Prize award, 2024; He collaborated with Indian Agriculture R & D .

MoU is signed and exchanged in between PJTAU and BITS Pilani in the presence of Hon’ble VC of PJTAU Prof. Aldas Janaiah and Hon’ble VC, BITS Pilani group of Institutions Prof. V. Ramgopal Rao to collaborate on digital technology with AI in Agricultural Research on 25.4.2025
