Tough loss for The Grove last night in Dubuque. The 6th inning continues to be our nemesis, as 4 runs were given up to lose the game 4-6. We did however almost triple our hit total from our win Saturday, so things are looking up!!

The Grove moves into the 2nd round of the Worthington tournament with a 4-1 victory Kieler. High team victory where all four pitchers were key in the win! Great base running and timely defensive helped secure the win. 2nd Round tonight night at 6:45 vs. Worthington.

Broke the streak!!! Did not lose to the tournament home team by 1 run. The Grove moves on to the semi-finals in Cascade. Too many big time players and plays to single anyone out. From top to bottom, pitching, hitting and defense we had it!!

Thursday night in Cascade for semifinals against Bernard Indians

Great pitching for a 2nd night in a row! Peerson Kephart and Thias McDermott pulled it off with a 3-2 victory over Kieler. Grove to the semi-finals Thursday night 6:45 vs. Bellevue.

Ran out of gas after 7th game in 11 days. Lost last night to Peosta in the Peosta tournament. Good news is it worked out great for tournament!! See you Saturday 12pm against Dyersville!!
