Esten Kohl ran an amazing race but just missed a medal, finishing 17th in the loaded class B field at state. He ran the 3rd fastest boys time in state history for Platteview Trojans and a 13 sec PR. Lots to build on for the Platteview Activities and Athletics.

Brooklyn Kermmoade posts a 34 sec PR & 2nd fastest state time in history for Platteview Trojans. She had an amazing race but just missed out on a medal, finishing 17th in the stacked Class B girls race. The best is yet to come for her and the rest of the Platteview Activities and Athletics crew.

Lydia Stewart was selected to the all-class Super State Cross Country Team. She is the first Platteview Trojans XC athlete to ever earn that honor. Congratulations!

Ran into some former Platteview runners at the Lincoln Marathon and Half Marathon. The high school runner to half marathon pipeline is alive and well! Great job ladies!!

🚨ATTENTION ALL 8TH-11TH GRADERS🚨 There will be an informational meetimg next week for those interested in cross country next year. Current high schoolers will meet right after school before spring practices on Monday, and current 8th graders will meet during advisory on Wed.

Huge congratulations to Esten Kohl for finishing 11th in the 3200m at state track and setting a new school record! Proud of you! Now time for some rest and recovery before cross country!

Brooklyn, Katy, and Reagan represented the XC team well with a clean sweep of their age range at the Springfield Days 5k this morning! Great job ladies! (Even their older, slower coach got in on the fun!😂)
