Irirgation giving some much needed water to the 5th green this morning. Some much needed rain coming over the weekend……things you don’t often say in Lancashire in March!

New 18th tee had its 3rd hand cut and the oak on the left has had a crown lift. Can’t wait for opening day next Thursday!

Greens improving daily after the Spring renovation work. Over 40 tons of sand in following the aeration work.

Bunkers all being brought back to qualifying level after the winter. Pleasington Greens Team doing a fantastic job and the course is in the best shape ever going in to the Season

New 18th tees looking brilliant before the grand opening on Thursday. Be great to have all the holes finally finished and open for play. Big thanks to Ben Lewis for giving the oak a much needed crown lift!!

After 6 years of totally rebuilding the course we are down to 2 sleeps. The weather is gorgeous- can’t wait till Thursday

Good2Great Eve - 8 years in the planning and our Member funded full course renovation will be fully open tomorrow 🫡

Big project completed as we move today to gender neutral tees. The 64 signifies 6,400 yards. We had 2 local companies work with us Pendle Wood Craft who made the blocks and Forged who designed and made the 2 layer plaques. Great craftsmanship and great value.

The 15th has bedded in so well with the sandpit becoming a real feature. Played uphill with the wind swirling it’s always a tricky approach shot!

Lovely day for the opening Saturday competition of the season. Course very firm at the moment and running fast. Great to see the leaves all coming and the bluebells and gorse in bloom. A drop of the wet stuff wouldn’t go amiss during the nights please!!

Pleasington GolfClub Had a great day at a course i haven't played for 51 years ...course was updated well and the clubhouse has retained its old charm ....thanks for the day out and is highly recommended..

Brilliant day for our invitational and course in great condition especially given the lack of the wet stuff! Lovely photo showing how the scruffy old quarry on 15 has become a key feature of the hole.

Another great photo taken today of the aptly named par 3 8th hole “Viaduct” A great uphill par 3 with the river on the right. A par here is a great score!
