Very sad news of the passing of Fraser Stoddart, a giant of chemistry for four decades. He pioneered (with J-P Sauvage) the chemistry of the mechanical bond (catenanes & rotaxanes) & recognised that their well defined motions could be useful for molecular machinery... 1/3

We reviewed recent pulsed #EPR Spectroscopy (PELDOR/DEER/PDS) applications on integral membrane proteins, enabled through Spin Labelling. Great to see the field moving forward!
