México ya tiene la infraestructura y regulación para la tokenización de la economía. Estamos felices de dar el primer paso 🔥

I started building Plumaa ID almost a year ago convinced that Mexico lost 20 years in innovation in financial technologies 🇲🇽 After this time, I'm sharing my experience building this on the side and what's meant for me 🧵 mirror.xyz/ernestognw.eth…

🇺🇸 As of now, we don’t offer on-ramp and off-ramp services because providers either have ridiculous fees for low amounts or require us to ask you for another ID 🤢 Looking forward to supercharge negotiable instruments with USDC whenever e.firma on-ramp becomes possible 💸

Our thesis is simple: 📈 Ethereum TAM is literally all financial assets, with a realistic chance of getting a decent share ✍️ Cryptographic digital signatures are the best natural tool for trading these assets compliantly Let that sink in

As of Oct 2024 Mexico has 25.5 million humans and 2 million business using PKI based DIDs. Plumaa ID leverages these allowing users to self-custody their funds and make legally binding signatures using government issued VCs. s/o ernestognw.eth

Imparable. Nadie lo ha hecho sin licencias 🧠

Plumaa ID (@plumaaid) 's Twitter Profile Photo

🇺🇸The real innovation we built is a general-purpose payment system that relies on Banco de México infrastructure, the same you use to transfer MXN from your bank. Regardless, the central bank can’t disable your e.firma Permissionless. Unstoppable. No licenses. That’s the real deal 🧠

Hey this is actually cool. One of the long-term objectives of Plumaa ID was to issue an MXN stablecoin backed by private credit. Other stablecoins like @bitso’s MXNb suck because they’re only on mainnet. Deployed 406 days ago and it has only 258 transactions 💀 Other’s aren’t
