Log 67 10/09/20 - Report from a security guard reporting a male has used black spray paint to deface signs and advertisement boards. Vehicle left scene, driving past Police. Vehicle later stopped. Driver found with black paint on hands and clothes. Arrested and interview awaits.

Male who was arrested for assaulting one of our officers last night has been charged and will appear before the courts in October.

A serious incident has taken place in the Stoke area of Plymouth this evening; four are in hospital and one man has been arrested on suspicion of attempted murder. If you have any information and have yet to have spoken to officers, please contact police on 101 quoting log 1112

A vehicle caught our attention last night, driving excessive speeds. Lane discipline was poor. Driver is subsequently arrested and later charged to court for being over the drink drive limit, no insurance and driving otherwise in accordance with a driving licence. #vehicleseized

Appalling incident this evening. Two officers have been assaulted by one individual whilst trying to calm down a family party (Covid breach is another matter). No need for this. He will have his interview tomorrow. Log 668 15/11/20.

Reflecting on what’s been quite a difficult set on the team. Sadly a number of assaults this week including a drink driver who assaulted 2 of the team before using his car to escape (later arrested). One of the team also savagely bitten and carrying a nasty wound 😡 #Unacceptable

Rest day number one, which unfortunately can't be enjoyed by all on the team as they have had to isolate following contact with positive cases in the course of their duties. Everyone must do their bit! Stay at home!
