Another weekend, another reminder of how lucky we are to live in Plymouth. Kenny & Aaron kindly opened their garden to raise funds for Stoke in Bloom. St Levan Summer Fun Day was in full swing. And I was blown away by Deller’s epic ‘Hello Sailor’ at newly transformed Tinside.

Efford and Lipson Plymouth Labour councillors met with the policing team, Plymouth City Council staff and High View School leaders last week to discuss school parking and traffic issues. Great to have so many people working together on this.

🌹Colourful roundabouts: you said; Plymouth Labour did 🐝 Rooted in community feedback from our Summer of Nature, I asked PCC’s Grounds team to plant pollinator-friendly flowers across Plymouth’s key junctions. They’re now in bloom and buzzing with bees! Check out Milehouse.👇

This is just the start. We’ve got much more lined up, including hardy perennials, and I’ve requested an earlier splash of colour with over 10,000 Spring bulbs. Fingers crossed they will keep attracting lots of bees and lots of smiles for years to come!
