If heading to the coast or out on the water today here are some safety tips to keep you safe: Take a fully charged mobile phone in a waterproof case. If you see someone in difficulty or get in to difficulty yourself dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard. Check the tide times RNLI

Tonight our volunteers from Plymouth RNLI will be on @SavingLivesAtSea. Tune in to BBC Two to find out how our crew assisted a casualty that had been in the water after his boat sank. Dial 999 and ask for the Coastguard if you get in to difficulty on the coast. RNLI

Saturday 18th November 5pm Plymouth RNLI will be travelling to the North Pole in the All Weather Lifeboat and returning with Father Christmas 🎅 Expected at the Royal William Yard 4:30pm and then the Barbican Landing Stage at Commercial Wharf 5pm to deliver Father Christmas.

Friday 8th December 1:05am. Plymouth RNLI volunteers launch to fishing vessel on fire. The Plymouth ALB was requested to launch by Falmouth Coastguard to locate and assist a fishing vessel reported to be on fire with three persons onboard.

Plymouth RNLI will be arriving at the Royal William Yard 10am on Sunday the 19th May with the all-weather lifeboat and the inshore lifeboat. Our Volunteer’s will be showing everyone around the lifeboats and giving a live demonstration of a rescue in the afternoon. RoyalWilliamYard

Tuesday 12th November 1:55pm Plymouth Inshore lifeboat ‘Annabel E Jones’ launched on service to locate and assist a person in the water in Millbrook Lake area. The volunteer crew arrived on scene and located the casualty waist deep in a swamped tender. Casualty recovered.
