This year’s festival theme is: ‘The Book and Beyond’. We will be considering all things bookish: offering events around the materiality of paper and print, but also looking beyond at performance off the page, and the future of poetry in the age of technology. Watch this space

We’re delighted to announce that Patience Agbabi will be performing on Sunday at this year’s Poetry in Aldeburgh. Her work is musical in every sense, attuned as much to the punning & political immediacy of the rhythms of rap & dub, as it is to the sonnet, sestina and rime royale.
